All shows are performed with full orchestrations as licensed:
SCHEDULE (subject to change):
- Orchestra has two separate rehearsals before joining the cast for a sitzprobe the Sunday before each opening
- Musicians will be called 30 minutes prior to each performance
DUTIES:
- Musicians are expected to arrive to all rehearsals prepared and ready to play as directed
- All members of pit orchestra will assist in final pit strike at the end of each show
- Musicians will provide their own concert blacks required at every dress rehearsal (photo call) and performance.
PAY:
- Salaries will range from $1100-$1200 per show depending on experience. Musicians for The Wizard of Oz will range between $1600-1800 due to the extended run of performances.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 18 years of age (as of June 1, 2024)
- Must have at least one year of college level instrumental training or commensurate professional (paid) experience
